About Us
Our mission is to support UK energy security and decarbonisation by providing the essential hydrogen-ready Ultra-long duration energy storage (Ultra-LDES) required to balance the grid and decarbonise major industrial clusters, shipping, and aviation.
UK Energy Group PLC (UKEn), formerly UK Oil & Gas Plc (UKOG), represents the evolution of our decades of experience in subsurface energy development.
While we continue to manage our remaining petroleum interests, UKEn’s primary strategic focus is on the development of hydrogen-ready Ultra-LDES infrastructure to support the UK’s transition to a secure, resilient and low-carbon energy system.
